Born in Münster, Westphalia, and raised southern Germany, I've moved around Europe serveral times during the last 10 years (Munich being my last known address) and I currently settle in my home town, which is now also serving as a hub to my business ventures.

Aside from working as a freelance Engineer and Consultant, I run a small company that manufactures wooden surfboards for happy customers. From time to time I take my boards and cruise my custom-built Multivan to the beaches of northern France, mainly Biarritz and the Bordeaux area that is, where I enjoy being at the ocean, out in the wild.

Outside the bureau, I spend my time playing tennis (a fabulous rediscovery), running or working out at the local gym together with friends. I do keep up the olde English tea ceremony and occasionally uncork a bottle of self imported Medoc to accompany some home-made food. Read more about my Life »
